As all campus caterers find it difficult to comply with the new set of rules, with vaccination as a key condition, imposed by the government to benefit from the latest relaxation of social-distancing measures for restaurants, they will make no changes to their current operations but are still required to adopt the following specified infection control measures in their outlets:

  1. ensuring that patrons (excluding persons who only order takeaways) scan the "LeaveHomeSafe" QR code using the "LeaveHomeSafe" mobile application on their mobile phones or register their names, contact numbers and the dates and times of their visits before the patrons are allowed to enter the premises;

  2. arranging for all staff members involved in the operation of the premises to undergo a polymerase chain reaction-based nucleic acid test for COVID-19 using combined nasal and throat swabs once every 14 days (or as alternative, complete a COVID-19 vaccination course);

  3. providing dine-in services from 5am to 9.59pm every day, with the number of customers at the catering premises at any one time not exceeding 50% of the normal seating capacity of the premises and no more than four persons seated together at one table.

In view of this, the UniBar will remain closed until further notice.

Thank you for your kind attention.
