To cope with the University plan to resume normal teaching and learning activities in the Fall, starting from 1 September, all campus catering and commercial outlets will resume operations to the extent feasible provided that government-imposed restrictions and general preventive measures are followed. Please visit here for details of the operating hours.
To help you perform social distancing by getting your meals for lunch without the need to enter a crowded food outlet, the grab-n-go food counter at LT-A has reopened and will operate from 11:30 to 14:00 on each working day. Operated by the American Diner, this counter will be serving choices of authentic Indian curry and Asian dishes. Apart from buying takeaway, you may also opt for sitting down and enjoying your meals in the air-conditioned marquees adjacent to the food counter. Of course, placing your takeaway order by using the online food ordering system to reduce the time you spent in the food outlets is always a good option.
To reduce over-crowding in catering outlets, we will provide additional dining furniture in some communal areas including the courtyard adjacent to LT-J, terrace outside the Chinese Restaurant, rooftop terrace of the new extension of LG7 Restaurant, etc. and free lunchtime shuttle bus services to Hang Hau and Po Lam. Please visit here for more details.
Once again, to minimize unnecessary social contacts and avoid visiting crowded places, it is highly recommended that you pack your meal for work, take the tips of dining on campus, buy takeaway food or adopt staggered meal times as far as practicable.
Stay alert, stay healthy
